My name is Sola Shittu, popularly known as SMS Oshara, a music and media prodigy who hails from Ekiti state, west of Nigeria. I am an entertainment minister and entrepreneur, recording/performing artist, songwriter, actor, record producer, video director, creative director, and media practitioner. I have an undying passion to communicate a sound of hope to the everyday people on the street, especially young people. I launched my debut studio album in November 2011 and have since released several great singles within the Christian and mainstream music space. About the inspiration behind ‘Praise Ahead’, I've had the song for close to a year now, born out of some things that God showed me about my future in the course of fellowshipping with Him in that season of my life. I'm sure my soul just had to create a song of praise to capture and appreciate the euphoria the revelations came within that moment. The song later became an integral part of my personal devotion and in my private times of worship. But on the 2nd of January this year, while praying, the Holy Spirit brought up the song on my mind and impressed on me to record and release it. He impressed on me that the end of 2020 did not necessarily mean the termination of all the troubles that have ravaged our world so far, and this song is to serve as an anchor for people through 2021. No matter what happens this year, we must sustain our joy, praise, and worship to God knowing that that is the only way to see Him move on our behalf. https://audiomack.com/sola-shittu/song/praise-ahead
Where to start? 2020 was quite a year. There are the clearly obvious issues: the loss of Kobe Bryant, COVID-19, social issues, businesses closing, and families losing everything in the “Year of the Mask”. In 2020, BrodieDaVinci experienced many of life’s monumental moments. He got engaged, became a father, and signed a record deal. Now he delivers his debut project for Rapture Ready Productions North, ‘Harmony’, on January 22, 2021. “When looking back over the year and really thinking about God’s hand and where He showed up in all of this, it made me do some soul searching,” explains Brodie. “I became a new person this year. I developed characteristics and qualities that I never noticed in myself before. I became more giving, understanding, and patient. I like to think that God used every single part of 2020 in HARMONY to help me become the man that I am in this moment.” ‘Harmony” is an eight-song project that can be heard across digital outlets. https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/brodiedavinci/harmony More about Brodie below. Released exclusively via tentmakermusic.com and YouTube on January 2, 2021, the LP is a “soft concept album" that features 17 tracks. “The album is about letting go,” A.K.A. God’s plans are always better than anything we could have come up with.” A Christ-centered, collaborative hip hop album in which Fisher was a part of the production as well, In the Ruins of Dreamland, has been described as “the breath of fresh air we did not know we needed.” “This album is a journey filled with deliverance, breakthrough, healing, and closeness with God.” For the latest from A.K.A.
