Christian Rap & Soul Artist, D'Vo has released a part 2 album of his first, 'I've Got Next', called 'Running the Point'. I'm a huge fan of D'Vo because his style is so different in the Hip-Hop community. He mixes soul, futuristic vocals, chopped & screwed very well, and this can be difficult to do. His unique style of mixing and mastering has garnered attention with two top-charting songs: What I Can or Can't Achieve, I'll Find My Way.
Take a joy-ride with the windows down listening to 'Swagger From My Father'. It's an upbeat song revealing D'Vo's confidence in himself, his work ethic, and His faith in God. It's a feel-good vibe that you could probably hit the dougie to, (if people are still doing that.)
n.e.r.d. life by D'Vo is from Houston, TX and music runs in the family! His brother plays multiple instruments, his dad is a musician, and his mom is a singer. His dad performed openings for artists like Cameo, the Bar-kays, and Smoky Robinson.
The Codex: I’ve Got Next, is the debut album from that n.e.r.d. life by D’Vo. The acronym n.e.r.d. stands for Needing Eternal Redemption and Deliverance, a reoccurring theme within the project along with volume two, Running The Point. If you think this is all he is capable of, you haven't heard his band, Global Rhythm. The band consists of four talented musicians (Master Pe, OB3ple, Vicky, D'Vo) across four continents who come together explosively with soul, funk, and authentic instrumentals. D'Vo is the lead singer and adds that southern edge to the group. Both of D'Vo's albums have songs featuring his bandmates: Me & My Friends, One Love.
Listen to their first single as Global Rhythm, 'A Love That Stays The Same'.
