Life Without Limits

All of my life I have been taught to "think outside the box." This phrase has always challenged my perspective because I was forced to change my way of thinking into an alternative view. However, it wasn't until recently that I received the revelation behind this phrase. God told me in prayer, "Son, why do you have me in a box, when I'm the God of you and the box?" When I took the time to think about this, I realized that all of this time, I have imposed limits on myself that God never gave me. Hebrews 11:1 states, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

If faith is a combination of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, why can I not have exactly what I want? A lot of times we don't have the best things in life because we don't think the best and we don't speak the best. I would like to challenge everyone to change their perspective and how they think. If God is a big God, why can't we as His people have BIG things? Don't let your words disqualify you from what your life has qualified you for. We can say things and phrases that were never God's intentions for our lives. For instance, "I'm broke." By saying that we are broke implies that we will never have money, however, God says "My plans are that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers." It is imperative that we speak what God speaks, and live the way that God intended for us to live. If you have struggled for it, you might as well enjoy it.
